Job Summary:
The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. This role ensures optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and test HVAC systems and components, including compressors, motors, pumps, fans, thermostats, and controls.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Charge and recover refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and service recommendations.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining technical issues and repair options clearly to clients.
