ACDS is currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded and long-established electrical contractor in the DFW area. With over 30 years of history in the Texas market, our client is known for its technical expertise and an incredibly experienced senior leadership team.
Due to a strong period of growth and an incredible backlog of work on commercial projects valued up to $9M, our client is expanding its core teams. ACDS is managing this search to identify Journeymen and ambitious Apprentices, and Foremen/Superintendents seeking a stable, long-term environment where trade skills are respected and professional advancement is supported, and the work is local.
Compensation:
- Journeyman/Master/Lead (JE/Master License) - New Construction: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour + vehicle/allowance may be offered
- Service Electrician (JE/Master License): $33.00 – $38.00 per hour + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card
- Apprentice Electrician - New Construction or Service: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour
- Superintendent / Foreman: $46.00 - $55.00+ per hour (DOE/Position) + Vehicle + Full Package

Roles & Career Progression:
Our client is seeking individuals who are motivated to progress within the company. Given the current growth rate, there are clear opportunities for high-performers to move into Superintendent roles and beyond/different progression routes into project management/estimating, if desired.
- Journeymen/Masters: Expert-level installers. Proficiency in conduit mastery (up to 4" EMT/IMC/Rigid), complex blueprint reading, and large-scale power distribution is required.
- Apprentices: Specifically seeking TDLR Licensed Electrical Apprentices with between 2-5 years of electrical experience who’s aim is achieving their Journeyman License as swiftly as possible. Positions are available in both New Construction and Service divisions, providing the mentorship and site experience necessary to reach the next level.
- Foreman / Superintendents: We are actively seeking field leaders with a proven track record of managing crews on $1.5M+ commercial projects. You must be able to drive a schedule, manage material, and maintain high safety standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- System Installation: Execute mid-large-scale commercial installations and power distribution.
- Blueprint Proficiency: Accurately interpret multi-layered schematics and one-line diagrams.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work meets NEC standards and local Dallas building codes.
- Project Execution: Lead the pulling and termination of large-gauge feeders in a high-production environment.
Requirements:
- Valid TDLR License: You must have an in-date TX Journeyman, Master, or Apprentice card.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transport is required for travel to various job sites.
- Standards: A commitment to safety, code compliance, and professional quality.
- Relocators: We encourage those open to relocating to the Dallas area (with a TX license) to apply.
