The Role
Do you enjoy organising programmes that help children and families grow in their faith? Are you experienced in religious education and confident leading volunteers in a Church setting?
We are looking for a Catholic Religious Administrative Education Coordinator to manage and support a variety of faith formation activities. You’ll oversee Sunday School, sacramental preparation, Bible studies, holiday programmes, and special events like Vacation Bible School.
In this role, you’ll help plan, prepare, and organise resources and materials, coordinate volunteers, and maintain accurate records. You will work closely with the Chaplain to make sure everything runs smoothly, from weekly classes to seasonal programmes.
This part-time position averages 14–15 hours per week and is perfect for someone organised, community-minded, and keen to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:
- Attend weekly RSO meetings, Parish Council meetings, and other scheduled gatherings to provide RE input
- Prepare and maintain a monthly Catholic Religious Education calendar, including regular and seasonal events
- Organise and prepare facilities, flyers, and materials for all RE programmes
- Track attendance and provide reports to support the RE programme
- Format, organise, and distribute programme materials each week
- Reset classrooms and learning spaces after each session
- Collect sacramental documents and update records accurately in the AMS portal
- Coordinate volunteers to ensure every RE session runs smoothly
The Person
- Knowledgeable in Catholic doctrine and religious education materials
- Experienced in religious education or similar roles
- Confident with computers and standard office software
- Strong interpersonal skills to lead and motivate volunteers
- Organised, dependable, and committed to the values of the Church
