We're looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at The Rookery Restaurant and Maxi's Bar at Carnoustie Golf Links.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the front. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our food and beverage outlets, helping to create exceptional experiences for guests while supporting and developing the Front of House team.
Working closely with the management team, you'll help maintain the high standards that visitors expect from one of the world's most recognised golfing destinations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily food and beverage operations
- Lead and support Front of House team members during shifts
- Conduct team briefings and provide ongoing coaching
- Help manage rotas, attendance, training and performance reviews
- Ensure excellent customer service across all outlets
- Handle guest feedback and assist with resolving concerns
- Monitor stock levels and support ordering processes
- Take reservations and booking enquiries
- Process orders using the POS system
- Support cash handling, till balancing and end-of-day procedures
- Ensure cleaning, hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained
- Suggest improvements to products, services and ways of working

The Person
- Experience within restaurant and bar operations
- Experience supervising or leading hospitality teams
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong customer service skills

- A team-focused attitude
The following would be beneficial, although training can be provided:
- Food Safety in Catering
- First Aid at Work
- Health and Safety training, including COSHH and Manual Handling
- Cocktail-making experience
- Personal Licence qualification
