Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioners, heaters, and refrigeration units.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVACR equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair and replace defective components in HVAC systems, including but not limited to electrical wiring, compressors, and thermostats.
- Utilize schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct refrigeration maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Weld/braze components for system repairs or modifications.
- Plumb new installations or modifications to existing systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system performance and recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a strong background in HVAC/R systems.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in equipment repair, refrigerate processes, appliance repair, and boiler operations is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and team members alike.
