Lead Plumbing Service Technician
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Pay: $30–$40/hour + Commissions, Bonuses, and Additional Employer-Paid Benefits

A growing residential plumbing company in the Alpharetta area is seeking an experienced Lead Plumbing Service Technician to join its team. The ideal candidate has experience independently managing a service truck, providing exceptional customer service, and identifying repair, maintenance, and replacement opportunities while delivering honest recommendations homeowners can trust.
Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, service, and maintain residential plumbing systems.

Troubleshoot plumbing issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions.

Perform routine maintenance and plumbing inspections.

Repair and replace water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, disposals, and other plumbing components.

Diagnose and repair leaks, drain issues, water lines, sewer lines, and gas piping as applicable.

Educate customers on repair, replacement, and preventative maintenance options.

Identify opportunities for system upgrades and plumbing replacements when appropriate.

Document work performed, equipment information, and customer recommendations.

Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and work area.

Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and team members.

Participate in ongoing training and assist with mentoring junior technicians as needed.

Respond to emergency service calls as required.

Qualifications
-
4+ years of residential plumbing service experience preferred.

Experience independently managing a service truck.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.

Ability to effectively communicate repair and replacement options to homeowners.

Applicable state or local plumbing license preferred.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.

Ability to work in crawl spaces, attics, basements, and confined spaces.

Ability to climb ladders, kneel, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the day.

Ability to work in varying weather conditions when necessary.
