Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC systems. This role involves both field service and repair tasks, ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and providing excellent customer service. EPA License required. Nate Certification is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the best course of action for repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Operate service vehicles safely while transporting tools and equipment to job sites.
- Collaborate with team members to design efficient HVAC solutions tailored to client specifications.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role in field service or appliance repair (4+ years).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- EPA Certified.
- NATE Certified a plus, but not required.
