The HVAC Technician plays a critical role in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. Working within a small team of 1-3 technicians, this position reports directly to the Facilities Manager and requires hands-on expertise to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties
- Perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment promptly
- Respond to emergency service requests as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in HVAC maintenance and repair
- EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification
- Expertise in HVAC system installation
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques
- Strong troubleshooting skills
