WCTractor has been putting equipment to work in Texas since 1939. As a Kubota Elite dealer with 11 locations across Central and East Texas, we're looking for a Service Manager to run day-to-day operations of the service department at our Sealy store: staffing, scheduling, workflow, and department performance.
What You'll Do
Manage day-to-day operations of the Sealy service department: scheduling, workflow, and shop performance, within WCTractor's established processes
Hire, train, and develop service department personnel using WCTractor's standard hiring and training framework
Drive profitable service labor sales and department efficiency
Enforce service processes and hold the team accountable to them
Serve as the point of accountability for customer satisfaction on service work
Partner directly with the store manager and other departments
Stay current on ag and light construction equipment, including manufacturer training
Service Manager QualificationsWhat We're Looking For
Previous experience managing or supervising a team, in service, shop, or a comparable environment
Strong mechanical aptitude; you don't have to be the best tech in the shop, but you need to be able to evaluate one
A track record of holding a team accountable, not just getting along with them
Excellent communication skills. This role requires managing up, down, and across departments
Comfortable with basic computer/software systems for reporting and scheduling
Valid driver's license
Able to lift up to 75 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs as needed
