Experienced HVAC Technician
Fort Worth Heat & Air is hiring experienced HVAC technicians who want to build a long-term career, not simply take the next job.
We are looking for technicians with residential HVAC service and installation experience who can diagnose accurately, communicate clearly with homeowners, complete quality work, and continue developing their skills.
Based on your verified experience, service-call history, installation background, leadership ability, and interview, we will place you at the appropriate technician level:
- Tech 2 – Ready to work independently in a truck and answer service calls on your own.
- Tech 3 – Able to troubleshoot the majority of service calls without needing help from a senior technician.
- Tech 4 – Able to troubleshoot almost all service calls without help from a senior technician, except for rare or highly unique scenarios. Also wants to train and lead junior technicians as they develop their skills.
- Tech 5 – Able to run a team, train helpers to become advanced technicians, and has the ability and desire to be considered for management. Must also possess an HVAC contractor’s license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of hire. If unable or unwilling to obtain the contractor’s license, the appropriate level is Tech 4.

Compensation
$22–$40 per hour, depending on verified experience and technician level.
- Higher technician levels may include additional expectations related to leadership, training, ethical sales, advanced technology, and management.
