About the Role:
Cheba Hut - Remaklus in Lincoln, NE is looking for a passionate and driven Assistant General Manager to help lead our team to success! Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Lead, coach, and develop front-of-house and back-of-house team members
- Oversee scheduling, labor management, and shift coverage to maintain optimal staffing levels
- Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness to uphold brand standards
- Drive sales performance and assist in meeting revenue and cost control goals
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships
- Step in as acting General Manager in the GM's absence
Requirements:
- 2+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Experience with food cost control, labor management, and scheduling
- Food Handler's Certification or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Positive, high-energy attitude with a passion for hospitality
