HVAC Controls Technician – Cedarville, OH
Join a mission-driven university facilities team and take the lead on HVAC controls and building automation systems across a large, modern campus.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain BAS/HVAC controls
- Diagnose BACnet and LonWorks communication issues
- Work with Niagara AX and Niagara N4 systems
- Replace and commission controllers, sensors, actuators, VFD interfaces, and related devices
- Make programming adjustments to existing control sequences
- Support AHUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, VAVs, and exhaust systems
- Assist with equipment startups, system integration, and optimization
- Respond to alarms, comfort issues, and controls-related service needs
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of HVAC controls/BAS experience
- Working knowledge of BACnet and LonWorks
- Experience with Niagara AX/N4
- Strong electrical, controls, and network troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read control drawings, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation
- Associate degree in HVAC, Building Automation, Electronics, Industrial Controls, or equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred
Niagara certification, Tridium experience, BAS/IP networking knowledge, and experience in large commercial, healthcare, higher education, or institutional facilities.
