Job Title: General Manager – HVAC & Plumbing

Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 base salary + performance-based bonuses

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and grow our HVAC and Plumbing operations in Gainesville, FL. This role requires a strong leader with a business-driven mindset, who can oversee daily operations, drive revenue growth, and ensure top-tier customer service. The General Manager will be responsible for managing technicians, office staff, budgets, and strategic initiatives to enhance profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations for both HVAC and plumbing divisions, ensuring quality service and efficiency.
Develop and implement strategic growth plans to increase revenue and market share.
Manage P&L, budgeting, and financial performance, ensuring profitability.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of technicians, office staff, and managers.
Implement and enforce safety, compliance, and industry regulations.
Streamline dispatching, scheduling, and customer service operations for maximum efficiency.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive business development initiatives.
Optimize operational processes using CRM and business management software.

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or a related service-based industry.
3+ years of leadership experience, managing teams and business operations.
Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and P&L oversight.
Proven ability to recruit, train, and retain top talent.
Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices.
Proficiency in business management software, CRM systems, and scheduling tools.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
