During my three year long apprenticeship and nearly seven years in the trade, I've become proficient in blueprint reading, the safe operation of power tools and machinery, and expertise in welding processes such as GMAW/MIG, SMAW/Stick, and GTAW/TIG. I have extensive knowledge in structural steel fabrication and welding, including AWS/CWB requirements for weld inspection. I am a certified CWB supervisor and currently ticketed for AWS/CWB GMAW flat and horizontal as well as SMAW all-position. I am capable and have been certified in fork-lift operation as well as overhead crane use.
I am an adaptable and dependable worker with living accommodations in Austin available to me. I also have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license with a clean record. I can relocate and begin work as soon as I would have a visa.
About
I am a licensed journeyman welder through the Canadian Red Seal Program. My spouse lives in Austin, Texas as a U.S. Citizen and I am seeking an employer to sponsor me for a work visa so that I may relocate to Austin. I am hardworking, adaptable, and knowledgeable in the metalworking trades.
My dream is to become a U.S. citizen one day and live here, contributing to the local economy and pursuing the American dream.
