Dallas Fort Worth is running a construction pipeline that Dodge projects at $46.18 billion in starts for 2026, and the infrastructure underneath it is being rebuilt at the same time. Every license and registration carries a six hour continuing education requirement per renewal cycle, and Medical Gas adds its own hours on top. Renewal lapses are avoidable and expensive, so track your date.
The practical takeaway when you are job hunting: ask directly whether the employer signs off your hours, and whether the work they will actually assign you is broad enough to prepare you for the exam. A shop that keeps you on repair drops for two years is costing you a license.
