We are seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential electrical systems, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent customer service skills. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential homes.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems, including wiring, panels, outlets, switches, lighting, and fixtures
Diagnose electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
Perform electrical upgrades such as panel replacements, circuit additions, and whole-home rewiring
Ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes
Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding repairs, options, and safety concerns
Complete work orders and documentation accurately and timely
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work collaboratively with dispatch and office staff
Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Qualifications

Valid state electrician license (Journeyman or equivalent preferred)
Minimum 2 years of residential electrical experience
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

Experience with smart home systems and energy-efficient upgrades
Knowledge of surge protection, EV chargers, or generator installations
Prior experience in a service-based electrical company
