We are seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential electrical systems, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent customer service skills. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential homes.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems, including wiring, panels, outlets, switches, lighting, and fixtures
- Diagnose electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Perform electrical upgrades such as panel replacements, circuit additions, and whole-home rewiring
- Ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes
- Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding repairs, options, and safety concerns
- Complete work orders and documentation accurately and timely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with dispatch and office staff
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid state electrician license (Journeyman or equivalent preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of residential electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Experience with smart home systems and energy-efficient upgrades
- Knowledge of surge protection, EV chargers, or generator installations
- Prior experience in a service-based electrical company
