Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Wireman or Journeyman Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various residential and commercial sites. The ideal candidate will have experience working with low and high voltage systems, read schematics accurately, and operate a variety of power and hand tools. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes such as NEC and the ability to work safely in dynamic environments. The Electrician will contribute to projects that range from Residential Homes to Commercial Facilities, ensuring all electrical work complies with safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Use hand tools (such as screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (drills, saws), and testing equipment (ohmmeters, ammeters) to complete electrical tasks efficiently.
- Perform maintenance on low voltage and high voltage electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections of electrical components for safety hazards or malfunctions; diagnose issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Collaborate with Management teams including service manager and Dispatch manager along with our other in-house trades to coordinate installation activities.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC standards, State and Local building codes.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for project documentation and future reference.
- Follow safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents on construction sites or industrial environments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Residential / Commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, ammeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards related to electrical work.
- Experience working on construction sites or industrial facilities is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
