Position Overview
Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a restoration project. (large and complex in size and scope) Partners with Construction Manager to understand scope of work, facilitate work with subcontractors and property owners, supervises and coordinates all elements of each reconstruction job.
Location:
This position requires heavy travel (200+ days a year) and must be located within driving distance to our facility in Olathe, KS.
Compensation: 70-90K salary plus bonuses
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project; estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
- Manages multiple projects at one time.
- Prepares accurate and complete project estimates and proposals. Organizes, plans, and manages multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
- Facilitates necessary paperwork and payment with property owners. Determines which portions of the job will be produced internally and which will be subcontracted.
- Analyzes job specifications, architectural drawings, blueprints, and supporting documents to determine and calculate quantities of materials specified for projects.
- Delivers focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project
- 2-3 years related experience in Commercial Restoration Project Management
- Associates/Bachelors degree in drafting, architecture, or construction related fields is preferred
- Ability to determine and calculate quantities of materials specified for projects
- 3-5 years experience in related field or combination of education and experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications preferred
- Strong and positive interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate with the Construction Manager and customers Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, estimating software, and electronic database documentation.
- A self-starter with the ability to multitask; independently managing multiple projects with firm deadlines
- Experienced in Time and Material Software

Incumbent is required to have:
- Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.
Incumbent will be subject to:
- Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
