Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee complex residential HVAC projects, including installations and repairs of split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, and ductless mini-splits.

Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and project efficiency.

Manage field technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure top standards.

Coordinate with Service Coordinator for scheduling, parts, and labor to maintain project timelines.

Communicate effectively with homeowners, addressing project details, issues, and completion updates.

Ensure rigorous quality control and compliance with safety standards, including proper PPE usage.

Maintain and manage company-issued tools, equipment, and a take-home company vehicle.

Submit accurate project reports, timecards, and service documentation.

Identify opportunities for system upgrades or repairs, collaborating with sales for proposals.

Contribute to business growth by mentoring staff and implementing process improvements.

Perform additional duties to support team success and company objectives.
Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of residential HVAC service and installation experience.

Associate’s degree or equivalent training/experience in HVAC or related field.

EPA Universal Certification and applicable state HVAC licensing (e.g., TDLR registration).

Proven expertise in troubleshooting complex residential HVAC systems (split systems, heat pumps, ductless units).

Strong problem-solving and project management skills for overseeing intricate field projects.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, or similar tools, and smartphone use.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and time management skills for managing teams and projects.

Ability to read wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation.

Provide basic hand tools (e.g., gauges, meter, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers).

Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as needed.

Valid driver’s license with 3+ years of registered driving history.

Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Work on ladders, in attics, crawlspaces, and at elevated heights.
