Job Title: HVAC Installer Technician
Compensation: $21–$29/hour + $2,000 Sign-On Bonus ($1,000 at 90 days, $1,000 at 180 days)
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled HVAC Installer Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing HVAC systems in residential homes, manufactured housing, and light commercial settings. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service while following all company standards and industry codes.
Key Responsibilities

Safely perform HVAC equipment installations.

Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Carry out work as directed by the Lead Installer, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Apply knowledge of the refrigeration cycle, including recovery, evacuation, and charging.

Wire line and low voltage to HVAC systems and water heaters.

Install copper refrigerant lines (soldering/brazing) and sheet metal/flex duct systems.

Properly connect gas lines to equipment.

Pre-measure jobs to identify required materials.

Install household appliances as needed.

Receive, verify, and load equipment/materials, maintaining stock levels on the truck.

Maintain company vehicle and report maintenance needs.

Assist team members as directed by management.

Complete all required documentation before end of shift.

Perform and record readings on test instruments.

Adhere to national, state, and local codes/regulations.

Keep supervisors informed of job status and potential delays.

Maintain company tools in good working order.

Deliver work professionally, treating customers with respect and escalating concerns to management.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Completion of a trade program in HVAC or related field (preferred).

At least 1 year of HVAC installation experience.

Solid knowledge of HVAC installation, start-up, tools, and test instruments.

EPA 608 Certification required.

Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Ability to work overtime and participate in on-call shifts as needed.

Valid driver’s license, acceptable MVR, and medical certification card (when required by jurisdiction).
