Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, purchase agreements, leases, and joint venture documents.
Manage due diligence processes, including title reviews and property assessments.
Represent the company in zoning, planning, and redevelopment board meetings.
Provide guidance on zoning laws, environmental regulations, and land use compliance.
Collaborate with development teams, architects, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.
Identify potential legal risks and propose practical, strategic solutions.

The Person

Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership of the New Jersey State Bar (New York admission is a plus).
3–7 years’ experience in real estate law, land use, or zoning.
Strong working knowledge of New Jersey zoning and environmental laws.
Excellent communicator, negotiator, and problem solver.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and motivated by meaningful work.
