Job Summary
We are seeking motivated Licensed Texas Journeyman Electricians to join our team in the Texas Panhandle area. We are needing Journeymen that know how to terminate 600 mcm with crimps in switch gears. (You must have a valid Texas Journeyman License to apply for this position) This position offers hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair in large data center. Candidates will work under the supervision of experienced electricians to develop their skills while contributing to high-quality electrical work on commercial and industrial sites.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications
- Must be able to terminate 600 mcm with crimps in switch gears
- Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to perform assigned duties
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), NEC standards, and schematics to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations
- Support the installation of wiring, conduit, switches, outlets, and other electrical components on construction sites or renovation projects
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with team members on framing carpentry, maintenance person tasks, or other related construction activities as needed
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills related to industrial and commercial electrical systems
Skills
- Basic understanding of electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage applications
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Familiarity with NEC standards and electrical codes
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters
- Prior experience working on construction sites or renovation projects is preferred
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting electrical issues
- Good physical condition with the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to learning and safety compliance
