Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure safety, compliance with electrical codes, and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete wiring tasks on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Test electrical circuits using ohmmeters and other testing devices to identify faults or issues.
- Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems for industrial automation projects.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper framing carpentry and schematics integration during installation phases.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems while working on commercial or industrial sites.
- Assist with schematic reading, troubleshooting complex electrical problems, and implementing effective solutions promptly.
- Support handyman tasks such as minor repairs or adjustments that enhance overall project completion.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification recognized by local authorities.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician working on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC standards, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and electrical code compliance.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and industrial automation components like PLCs.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment essential for troubleshooting.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately and follow detailed instructions for complex installations.
- Construction site experience demonstrating adaptability in diverse environments including renovation projects.
- Skilled in frame carpentry work as needed for supporting electrical infrastructure installation.

Pay: $31.54 - $45.00 per hour
