Location: Dayton, Ohio
Compensation: $85,000–$90,000 base salary + performance-based bonus

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly personable Plumbing Operations Manager to oversee and support day-to-day operations across residential, commercial, and new construction plumbing projects. This role is ideal for a strong leader who understands the field, can communicate effectively with customers and crews, and can manage projects from planning through completion.
The Operations Manager will work closely with ownership, technicians, and project teams to ensure projects are bid accurately, executed efficiently, and delivered with exceptional quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily plumbing operations across residential, commercial, and new construction projects

Manage and support field teams to ensure productivity, quality workmanship, and safety

Review, interpret, and read blueprints and construction plans

Create and draw isometric drawings as needed for projects

Bid and estimate residential and commercial plumbing projects, including:

Prepare and review proposals, change orders, and job costing

Coordinate scheduling, manpower, and materials to meet project timelines

Act as a point of contact for customers, builders, and general contractors

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards

Support process improvement and operational efficiency

Utilize software systems to track jobs, manage workflows, and maintain documentation
Required Qualifications

Proven experience in residential, commercial, and new construction plumbing

Strong ability to read blueprints and construction documents

Must be able to draw isometric drawings

Experience bidding and estimating plumbing projects (residential & commercial)

Ability to accurately quote time and material jobs

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities

Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor

Plumbing license is NOT required
Preferred Qualifications

Experience using FieldEdge and/or ServiceTitan (strong plus)

Prior operations, project management, or supervisory experience in plumbing

Experience working directly with general contractors and builders
