Construction Safety Manager
Location: Covington, KY
Duration: 6+ Months (Start: 2/2/2026)
Type: 1099 Contractor
Job Details
- Hourly Rate: $52/hr
- Per Diem: No perdiem
- Completion Bonus: $150/month
- Pay: Weekly
Schedule: 60+hrs/wk M-Sat 7-7 Sundays work as needed
Project Scope
The construction safety manager will oversee safety for a mechanical contractor lifting heavy, large pipes and HVAC
Qualifications
Candidates must havethe following requirements:
- OSHA 30
- 3+ years of construction safety experience (mechanical/industrial preferred)
- Experience with cranes and rigging
- First Aid/CPR/AED required
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
- Provide safety training as needed
- Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocols
- Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
- Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required
Skills & Knowledge
Skills:
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- OSHA outreach training experience (preferred)
- Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
- Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations
