Full-Time | Hybrid Office/Field Role
Ready to Lead Without Leaving the Field Behind?
If you’re the HVAC professional technicians call when they’ve exhausted the easy answers, this could be your next move.
We’re looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead and support a team working on complex industrial and large-scale commercial HVAC systems. This is a hands-on leadership role where your technical experience matters just as much as your ability to lead people.
You won’t spend your entire day behind a desk. You’ll support technicians, visit customer sites, troubleshoot difficult equipment issues, manage service priorities, and help keep the team and customers moving forward.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Serve as the technical escalation point for challenging HVAC service and installation issues
• Support technicians with troubleshooting chillers, boilers, RTUs, hydronic systems, pumps, controls, and mechanical equipment
• Visit job sites when additional technical support is needed
• Coordinate daily service priorities, scheduling, and field operations
• Mentor technicians and help develop their technical skills
• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and field teams
• Ensure jobs meet safety, quality, and customer expectations
• Support job costing, documentation, and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years of industrial, mechanical, or large-scale commercial HVAC experience
• Strong experience with chillers, boilers, commercial RTUs, hydronics, pumps, and mechanical room equipment
• Previous leadership experience as a Lead Technician, Field Supervisor, Service Supervisor, or Service Manager
• Strong mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls troubleshooting skills
• Ability to coach technicians through difficult service calls
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Experience That Will Set You Apart
• Healthcare or hospital HVAC systems
• Industrial or manufacturing facilities
• Central plants and large mechanical rooms
• Building automation and controls
• Mission-critical or institutional facilities
Why This Role?
You’ve spent years building your technical HVAC knowledge. This is an opportunity to use that experience to lead a team, solve the problems that require senior-level expertise, and make a bigger impact without completely stepping away from the field.
We’re looking for someone who leads with confidence, accountability, and a team-first attitude.
