Service Manager - Commercial HVAC
Location: Skokie, IL | Full-Time
Hybrid: Office/Field Role
Compensation: $90,000-$120,000, Depending on Experience
Role Summary
We are hiring a Service Manager to support and scale our Commercial HVAC operations. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role designed for an experienced commercial HVAC professional who can step in when situations get complex - supporting technicians in the field, visiting job sites, resolving issues in real time, and maintaining strong client relationships.
This is not a desk-only role. The ideal candidate is a seasoned commercial technician with leadership presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead calmly under pressure.

Core Responsibilities

Act as the escalation point for complex service and installation challenges

Visit job sites to support technicians and drive solutions

Coordinate daily field operations, including scheduling, priorities, and job flow

Bridge communication between technicians, clients, vendors, and office staff

Oversee onboarding and documentation of HVAC systems for new accounts

Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met

Support job costing, documentation, and operational tracking
Required Experience

10+ years of commercial HVAC experience

Strong background with chillers, boilers, and commercial RTUs

Prior leadership, senior technician, or supervisory experience

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and decision-making skills

Comfortable using technology (mobile apps, photos/videos, documentation tools)

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
