Journeyman Electrician – Electrical Assembly Team Leader
Pay: $40 to $42 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to serve as an Electrical Assembly Team Leader. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will guide a team in the assembly, wiring, and installation of advanced electrical systems and equipment.
You will work directly on the manufacturing floor, performing electrical work alongside your team while providing daily leadership to ensure safe, accurate, and on-schedule production of high-quality assemblies.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a team of electricians in hands-on electrical assembly, wiring, and installation.
- Perform electrical work as needed to support the team and maintain production flow.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and adjust priorities to meet schedules.
- Read, interpret, and execute work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material.
- Ensure assemblies meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical and assembly issues; provide technical guidance to team members.
- Perform inspections and functional testing of completed assemblies.
- Enforce electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, NEC standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to resolve issues.
- Train, mentor, and coach team members; support onboarding and skill development.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles.
- Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
- Active Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent certification); Journeyman Lineman license also accepted.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical assembly, industrial electrical work, or manufacturing (3+ years considered with strong qualifications).
- Previous lead, senior electrician, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Working knowledge of NEC, electrical safety standards, and industrial best practices.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on leadership with excellent team coordination and communication.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and production tracking.
- Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and perform hands-on work; occasional overtime may be required.

- Must pass a background check and drug testing.
