We are looking for an HVAC Tech to join our team! You will install, service, and repair heating, air conditioning, and commercial refrigeration systems.
Job Summary
The HVAC Technician is to assist in the daily operations of HVAC Systems. This position must work extended hours that includes nights, and weekends occasionally. They are also on call for emergency situations that arise.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma
- EPA Universal required, and Basic knowledge of controls
- Ability to sit/stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 75lbs occasionally
- - Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 50lbs. on a regular basis.
- - Must have a willingness to work long hours and a variable schedule
Preferred (Desired) Qualifications
- Ohio HVAC License
- Completion of HVAC Program
- at least 1-year in boiler, chiller, and commercial air conditioning equipment
Responsibilities:
- Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration; The noise level in the work environment can be quiet to loud.
- Work is performed primarily in outdoor settings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in HVAC
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
