Duties
- Assist with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
- Support service technicians by preparing work areas, gathering tools, and following detailed schematics and technical instructions.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system inspections, and minor repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
- Learn to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to assist with system diagnostics.
- Help with plumbing connections and repairs related to HVAC systems or property maintenance projects.
- Support field service activities including equipment repair, appliance servicing, and property upkeep.
- Operate basic testing tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and assist with welding or mechanical repairs when needed.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or property maintenance is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
- Service technician experience or exposure to HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, or HVAC design concepts will help accelerate your learning curve.
- Mechanical knowledge related to appliances, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, or general equipment repair is beneficial.
- Hands-on experience with field service tasks such as troubleshooting air conditioning units or performing basic appliance repairs is desirable.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for travel between job sites.
- Willingness to develop skills in welding, equipment repair, and mechanical maintenance as part of your growth trajectory within the company.
