Position Summary:
The Electrical Crew Lead position will be leading crews of 2-5 people. We are looking for a strong lead with experience in leading crews, knows how to effectively communicate and works well with others. Ensure that deadlines are met, and the schedule is followed. This position requires proficient commercial electrical knowledge. Must be familiar with field tracking paperwork and ensure quality control at the job site, maintaining a safe work environment and effective communication between the office and the field. This position requires a minimum of 45 hours per week.
We are located in Van Alstyne, TX, however, jobs are located mostly throughout Collin and Grayson County.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a crew of electricians.
- Effectively communicate duties and tasks to the crew.
- Making sure that the crew remains on task and gets their work done in an efficient manner.
- Maintain excellent time management skills and adhere to schedules.
- Pick up material for jobs.
- Attend on-site meetings as required.
- Monitor and enforce safety standards and requirements.
- Maintain regular communication with project managers to provide updates and address and resolve any issues that may arise with the project.
- Document and record accurate timekeeping of field crews.
Qualifications:
- Card carrying Electrical Journeyman with a minimum of 3 years’ experience and a strong knowledge of electrical codes and systems is a must.
- Previous experience working as a commercial Electrical Crew Lead.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be flexible due to the fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read plans.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
