Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Electrician to join our rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will be equipped with a company van and will be responsible for handling multiple service calls per day across the Dallas- Ft Worth metroplex. The ideal applicant will possess excellent time management skills, be able to work independently, and have the drive to help our business grow alongside our expanding customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
- Troubleshoot and program PLCs.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across a variety of commercial and manufacturing systems.
- Install and troubleshoot motor control systems.
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Travel to multiple job sites daily using a company vehicle.
- Be available for night shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Maintain and ensure cleanliness and organization of your company vehicle.
- Obtain and manage all necessary materials for each project.
- Provide excellent customer service while on job sites.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and job progress.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Service Electrician.
- Texas Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Strong understanding of NEC regulations and standards.
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid Texas driver’s license.
- Experience with medium voltage installations (5kV – 35kV).
- Experience with generators, fire pumps, and elevators is preferred.
- Ability to lift at least 60 lbs and perform physical tasks in various environments.
- Must pass drug testing and a national background check (minimum 10 years).
- Professional appearance and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
