The HVAC Technician plays a critical role in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Along with maintaining and repairing hot and cold restaurant equipment. As an individual contributor, the technician ensures quality service using standard HVAC hand tools while adhering to safety standards. This role involves daily travel between job sites and requires strong troubleshooting skills and customer communication.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems for commercial clients
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive care on HVAC equipment
- Diagnose and repair system issues efficiently
- Troubleshoot electrical wiring and refrigeration components
- Test equipment performance to ensure optimal operation
- Respond to emergency repair requests promptly
- Maintain accurate records of service and repairs
- Follow safety regulations and compliance standards
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding system status and service needs
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC technology
- Certification in HVAC technology and EPA 608 Certification
- Proficiency in HVAC system installation and electrical wiring
- Knowledge of refrigeration and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong customer communication skills
- Familiarity with safety standards compliance and preventive maintenance
- Effective time management skills
- Experience with repairs on hot and cold restaurant equipment
