Production Operator– $20.50-$26.30 Per Hour DOE (additional $2.00 per hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts)– Armstrong or Estherville, Iowa ON-SITE

You’ll work with a range of fabrication machinery used to cut, shape and form metal products. You'll play an important role in producing high-quality components while maintaining a safe and organised work area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read job specifications and technical drawings
- Set machine guides, stops and controls to required measurements
- Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect products and check measurements against specifications
- Identify machine issues or product defects during production
- Carry out basic machine maintenance, including lubrication
- Support machine set-ups and production changeovers
- Stack, mark and pack finished products
- Help train and support new team members
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and support 5S activities
- Attend team meetings and work closely with colleagues across the plant
- Complete other duties as required

The Person
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- The ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Good problem-solving skills and sound judgement
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn new processes and work across different areas
- Robotics experience and controls/instrumentation knowledge would be advantageous
