The HVAC Technician will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing residential and commercial HVAC systems. Working closely within a team, this position involves frequent travel to multiple job sites to handle routine maintenance, complex repairs, and emergency service calls. Emphasis is placed on safety compliance, customer service, and thorough documentation throughout all tasks.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative care on HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions and failures
- Conduct system testing and quality checks post-repair or installation
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations
- Document work performed and system status accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and support
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance
- Technical certification in HVAC or related field
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Proficient in HVAC system installation and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices
- Experience with refrigeration and electrical systems
- Strong customer service and safety compliance skills
