About the Role:
Alford Air Conditioning Inc is looking for a skilled and motivated Installer/Service Tech to join our team in Jupiter, FL. Responsibilities:
- Install residential and commercial HVAC systems, including split systems, package units, and ductwork
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
- Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations
- Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment in proper working order
- Complete service reports and job documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC installation and/or service
- EPA 608 Certification required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of HVAC systems and brands
- Strong knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
- Professional, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills
