Tech 2 – Developing Service Technician
Experience: 6–24 months verifiable HVAC field experience
Pay:
$22–$28/hr (depending on experience)
Minimum requirements
You should have:
- 15+ residential installs total Led at least 5+ of those as the primary installer
- 500+ residential service calls total At least 250+ of those run on your own (not just riding along)
- Install experience can be partially offset if you’ve run 500+ solo service calls
Who this is for
Apply as a Tech 2 if:
- You are ready to be in a truck on your own answering service calls
- You can handle most routine maintenance and common repairs with minimal hand‑holding
