The Service Technician will service industrial air cleaners (mostly electrostatic precipitators, “ESPs”) across our service region. The Service Technician, in consultation with the Operations Manager, will ensure our truck & trailer is adequately loaded and stocked for each service job.
Responsibilities and duties:
• Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders; investigating complaints; conducting tests; troubleshooting and resolving problems
• Performs preventative maintenance; completing installation of new equipment or maintenance of existing equipment; performing acceptance tests
• Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements
• Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
• Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential
• Repairs damaged equipment
• Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed
• Identifies, learns, and complies with all customer safety policies and procedures (wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, following lock-out-tag-out procedures, etc.)
• Uses proper lifting techniques to move equipment
