Job Title: Hydraulic Mechanic / Mechanical Rebuild Technician
Location: Brooklyn Heights, OH
Pay: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Optional overtime available)

The Role:
We are hiring a full-time Hydraulic Mechanic / Mechanical Rebuild Technician. You will work inside our clean, climate-controlled shop facility performing hands-on diagnosis, teardown, repair, and assembly of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves. This is a bench-rebuilding role with steady day-shift hours and zero field travel.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical issues and inspect components for wear or failure.
- Disassemble, clean, repair, and rebuild hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves.
- Utilize precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers to verify tolerances.
- Test completed hydraulic assemblies to ensure proper performance and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bench work environment.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of mechanical repair, assembly, automotive, diesel, or military mechanical experience.
- Ability to read and use precision measuring instruments (calipers and micrometers).
- Must own basic personal mechanical hand tools.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for full shifts.
- Must live within a reasonable commute of Brooklyn Heights, OH (under 30 minutes).
- Must pass a background check prior to employment.
