Position Overview:
· As an HVAC Lead Technician & Chiller Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing HVAC service, maintenance, and repair operations, with a particular focus on chiller systems and larger RTU's.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC issues.
· Ensure all HVAC systems operate efficiently and comply with industry standards.
Chiller Systems:
· Perform installation, maintenance, and repair on chiller systems.
· Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on chillers.
· Troubleshoot and resolve chiller system issues, including refrigerant handling and control systems.
Customer Interaction:
· Communicate effectively with clients to assess needs and provide solutions.
· Prepare detailed service reports and recommendations for clients.
· Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Compliance & Safety:
· Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
· Adhere to safety protocols and best practices.
· Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., NATE, EPA) .
· Proven experience as an HVAC Technician with a strong background in chiller systems.
· Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
· In-depth knowledge of HVAC and chiller systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
· Comfortable working in various environmental conditions.
· Ability to work on ladders and in confined spaces.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
