Pay: $32.50 per hour
Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Type: 3-month contract position through Clean2TheKore. Do great work and you could be hired on permanently by the hospital.
Keep a large Savannah hospital comfortable and safe. You'll service the HVAC and refrigeration systems that patients and staff depend on, working with little or no supervision.
What you'll do
- Maintain, adjust, repair, test and operate air conditioners, chillers, heating, hydronic and pneumatic air systems, and Johnson Controls systems
- Work from prints, diagrams, handbooks and manufacturer instructions to find problems and replace worn or defective parts
- Run preventive maintenance and help train other HVAC technicians
- Give technical input on new equipment and on removing or replacing HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Order replacement parts, keep the spare parts inventory and help with filter changes
- Document all work orders in the hospital's maintenance system
What you need
- Hospital HVAC experience (required)
- Able to make independent decisions on electrical safety inspections, major HVAC/refrigeration repairs and parts ordering
- Comfortable using computer work order systems
- Background check and 10-panel drug screen (including marijuana) before you start
