Job Purpose
As an Insulation & Sales Manager, you’ll lead the insulation division, overseeing field operations, training technicians, and driving sales growth through in-home consultations and upselling. Your expertise in insulation installation, combined with strong sales and leadership skills, will ensure top-quality service delivery, safety compliance, and revenue targets. This role offers a lucrative commission-based compensation structure, a company vehicle, and opportunities to shape a growing division in a dynamic home services company.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily insulation operations, ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and company standards.

Lead, train, and coach a team of insulation technicians, conducting ride-alongs and performance reviews to enhance skills and job quality.

Perform in-home sales consultations, identifying and presenting insulation and related service opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Develop and implement training programs for technicians on insulation techniques, safety protocols, and customer communication.

Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, industry standards) and proper equipment use.

Track sales metrics, close rates, and upsell opportunities, collaborating with leadership to achieve revenue goals.

Conduct quality control inspections to ensure installations meet specifications and customer expectations.

Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to manage job schedules and optimize workflow.

Stay updated on insulation technologies, materials, and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.
Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience in insulation installation (required), preferably in residential settings.

2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in home services, construction, or related fields.

Proven track record in sales, particularly in-home consultations and upselling services.

Strong knowledge of insulation materials (e.g., fiberglass, spray foam, cellulose) and installation techniques.

Familiarity with safety regulations (OSHA, industry standards) and equipment maintenance protocols.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers, teams, and stakeholders.

Proficiency in CRM or scheduling software (e.g., Workiz, ServiceTitan) and Microsoft Office.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).

CSIA certification or HVAC trade experience (preferred but not required).

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet sales and operational needs.
Physical Requirements

Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed for inspections and demonstrations.

Climb ladders, work in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas, and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, kneeling).

Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, including residential job sites.

Comfortable with fieldwork and supervising installations while maintaining a professional presence.
