Overview
Job Title: Licensed Journeyman Electrician
Location: Cedar Rapids – Iowa
Start Date: Monday's
Pay Rate: $50/hour and $175/day per diem ALL 7 DAYS
Hours: 50+ hours per week
Duration: 14+ months
Licensing: Must hold an Electrician License from Iowa or a state that reciprocates (Alaska Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin and Wyoming)
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems (data center experience is a plus)
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Adhere to NEC and local electrical codes
- Able work safely and in a team environment.
- Experience with conduit bending, cable pulling, terminations, and panel work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades on-site
Qualifications:
- Iowa Journeyman Electrician License (required)
- Minimum 5 years of electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings
- Data center experience is a plus
- Ability to work 50+ hours per week
- Must pass any background check and drug test
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety
