Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in commercial electrical work and possess a current journeyman electrician license. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on a variety of commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and facilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to complete projects on time
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial electrical work
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools related to the electrical trade
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, heights, confined spaces)
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Experience with energy-efficient systems or building automation
- Familiarity with digital work order systems or mobile field service tools
