Our client, a top general contractor in DFW known for delivering high-quality federal and FAA work, is seeking a Travelling Electrical Foreman/ Supervisor to lead projects across the U.S.
As a Traveling Electrical Forman/ Supervisor, you will take ownership of complex, high-profile builds- from airport runway lighting upgrades to substations, communication towers, and support facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily electrical operations on-site for government and FAA-related projects (lighting systems, substations, communication towers, airport upgrades, or comparable federal buildings).
- Oversee subcontractors, electrical scheduling, and site logistics from groundbreaking through closeout.
- Conduct inspections, troubleshoot electrical issues, resolve problems quickly, and keep projects on track.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, stakeholders, and federal representatives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years as a Foreman/ Technician overseeing electrical projects on government or commercial builds valued $5M+.
- Proven electrical experience strongly preferred (lighting systems, substations, towers, or comparable scopes).
- FAA/aviation project experience a plus but not required- comparable federal project experience highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, safety regulations, and blueprint reading.
- OSHA 30-hour required; additional electrical or federal certifications a plus.
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred, not required).
