Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled Lead HVAC Installer & Service Technician to join a fast-growing residential heating and air conditioning company backed by a national franchise system. This is a hands-on, dual-role position focused primarily on high-quality installations, with additional responsibility for service and troubleshooting as needed.
The ideal candidate is a strong technical installer who takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently, communicates well with homeowners, and understands that excellent installs are a key driver of company revenue and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Installation (Primary Focus – Revenue Driver):

Lead and perform full HVAC system installations in residential settings

Ensure all installs meet manufacturer specifications, company standards, and local codes

Properly size, set, and test systems for optimal performance

Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites

Train and mentor junior installers when applicable
Service & Diagnostics:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems as needed

Perform preventive maintenance and system tune-ups

Identify opportunities for repairs, upgrades, or replacements

Clearly explain findings and recommendations to homeowners
Customer & Company Standards:

Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in customers’ homes

Complete paperwork, digital job notes, and necessary documentation accurately

Follow company processes, safety protocols, and brand standards

Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and team members
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 4+ years of HVAC experience (residential preferred)

EPA Certification required

Strong installation experience — this is a critical component of the role

Solid troubleshooting and service skills

Ability to work independently and lead jobs when needed

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
