Assistant Controller | $65,000–$80,000 | Baton Rouge, LA
Are you confident managing high volume accounts payable with accuracy and control? This hands on role leads the full AP cycle while supporting job costing, financial reporting, and overall cost discipline. You will work closely with project managers, vendors, and the Corporate Controller to keep projects profitable and finances organized, accurate, and audit ready.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee full accounts payable cycle
• Code invoices to correct projects and cost centers
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Support job costing and month end reporting
• Improve processes and strengthen financial controls
What We’re Looking For:
• 2+ years full cycle AP experience, preferably in construction
• Strong understanding of job costing
• Solid Excel skills
• Experience with systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, Procore, or similar
• Detail oriented, proactive, and confident communicator
