Overview
PowerEdge is seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to step into a Site Lead across our commercial projects. This is a team lead position requiring strong technical expertise, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and up to code.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead field operations for electrical installations, rough-ins, panel replacements, and final trim-outs.
- Supervise electricians and apprentices on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and electrical schematics to guide installations.
- Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to keep jobs on schedule and within scope.
- Perform QA/QC checks, verify code compliance, and ensure materials and work meet PowerEdge standards.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide hands-on solutions in the field.
- Maintain clear documentation of inspections, incidents, and task completions.
- Serve as the on-site liaison for clients, city inspectors, and general contractors when needed.
Requirements
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum 5 years of field experience (commercial + residential).
- Experience leading crews and managing job sites.
- Strong understanding of NEC and local codes.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel throughout the DFW area.
Preferred
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
