Position: Journeyman Electrician

Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLC systems and access control systems, along with a valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and controls
- Work with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, including wiring, programming, and diagnostics
- Install and service access control systems and related security devices
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national codes and safety regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Collaborate with other trades and project managers to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Perform regular maintenance and testing on electrical systems to ensure proper operation
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (required)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial electrical work
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
